Consequences of workplace concepts on labour productivity

September 2008 a research project started to the consequences of office workplace concepts on the labour productivity of employees. The first half of the research project is a theoratical exploration, a literature research. Next to that interviews with professionals and specialists about this topic will take place.

From January until May/June we would like to use the outcome of the literature research to put in practise in the workfield. For this we are still looking for organisations that would like to participate in this research, be a case company or sponsor the second half of the research.

If you would like more information on the research, please go to: www.workplace-concepts.nl or mail to info@workplace-concepts.nl. If you would like to participate in or sponsor the research project, please contact Nicky Mosselman, project leader (for contact details go to www.workplace-concepts.nl).

Kind regards,

Nicky Mosselman

Call for research projects and participants

The Academy of Facility Management applies for their graduation the educational concept of ‘demand based learning’. This means that students design their own graduation and are fully responsible for their graduation. There are several requirements students have to take in to consideration. The activities (placement and/or research and/or minor etc.) have to be within the domain of Facility Management. They have to conduct research during graduation. Students have to apply theories and models. Most of all students have to gain proof for 7 competencies on level 3.

For the research component students can make their own choices on subject, method, focus and amount of research. Students are supported (demand based) by lecturers during research projects. For the more in-depth research project students search for: subjects, cases, interview participants, experts, etc. in the work field. Do you have a research project or are you interested to participate, please let us know. Let’s work together to professionalize Facility Management.
